Hi guys! I thought it’d be a good idea to have a quick talk about the background of these workouts. At the risk of exposing my old age, I can testify to you that I have worked out almost every single day (many of those multiple times!) for the last 25 years. Can my freshman year in high school really be that long ago?! Ugh.

All that to say, I have spent 10,000 hours in/on/at countless gyms, fields, garages, and other bizarre places zeroing in on the most effective and efficient way to train the human body. And, as much as I’ve been my own “guinea pig,” I’ve also tested my methods/experiences on countless clients, athletes and friends- ever since my first job in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer at Bally’s Chicago back in 1999.

What I’ve learned is going to be the crux of our workout program. Simply put- I will not recommend anything that I haven’t done myself countless times, and I can tell you- without a doubt- that if you implement the recommended exercise and nutrition methodology into your life, you WILL Feel/Look/Do better. Your body does not have a choice- it WILL change! 🙂

But please know, this is NOT an unhealthy lose all the weight tomorrow program. There is no such thing as a magic pill that will change your life. And I am not pushing anyone here to be the next Mr. or Mrs. Olympia!

My hope is that we can share the countless lessons we have learned, the hard way, over a lifetime of exercise and nutrition. The very BEST way to create healthy change in your life- and in the lives of your families- is by developing good HABITS which will gradually replace the bad habits. Eventually, these habits become our LIFESTYLE And when we, as adults, reap the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, then our kids do too. Shhh, don’t tell anyone, but happier/healthier families make the world a better place!

And that, my friends, is the (realistic and achievable) dream…
