    So the scones look great. I recently finished the Whole30 and I’m looking to introduce some sensible grains. I own most of the ingredients but I’m seriously lost when it comes to baking on the fly. Is it possible you could include the measurements or at least ball park it. I really have no idea even where to start.

    Hi DGabe88! So sorry for the slow reply, we will check the Forum more often- we’ve been focused on growing the rest of the site! haha

    I’ll ask Julie for some measurement shortcuts, but I do know that she never measures! 🙂 She just eyeballs it every time, so it might be a little different each time- but she lets the kids help and so they introduce other variables as well…

    Here is a rough estimate- again, depends upon specific ingredients (flours) and serving size! 🙂

    Dry ingredients:
    gluten free flour mix (2 CUPS)
    brown rice flour (1 CUP)
    ground flax seed (1 CUP)
    organic cinnamon (1 TSP)
    1/2 tbs. baking powder
    (sometimes I add protein powder…Garden of Life “Organic Plant Protein”) (2 SCOOPS)

    Wet ingredients:
    organic olive oil (2 TBSP)
    almond or coconut milk (2 CUPS, OR, ENOUGH TO BLEND)
    1 tsp organic vanilla extract
